There are some things that this editor for parenting and mother says that I think about and question myself about.
Why do I do some of these things? Face it mothers, we all do one of these things and don't know why. Mine would definitely be "Why did you do that?" and this is how it normally goes.
Me: B why did you do that?
B: Because I wanted to.
That does not get us anywhere and then I proceed to be upset and angry about his answer rather than what he actually did to deserve to be in trouble. He secretly turns the tables that way.
Or the ever ending of telling your toddler what to do. My lines are
Put your shoes on.
Clean up your toys
Don't act like that.
The most popular one I do is what my husband tells me not to do...
ASKING THEM QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT TO DO OR EAT!
Don't do it ladies...that's how I started to get a picky eater. I nipped that one in the butt recently though.
